Laporte has been high up on the list if many of Europe's giant teams (Man Utd being one).
I can't believe for one second that this has legs on it with a reported value of £31million.
Laporte has played at almost every level for France (currently featuring for the U21).
A big thing for me is the CB has also been deployed at left back and played successfully, considering both Rose and Davies have struggled there throughout the season this could be a perfect transfer, but again I don't see this going anywhere.
Fortunately after the Herrera transfer Man Utd will find it difficult to make this transfer work, but someone else is likely to come in for the highly rated defender.
