Naughton joined from Sheffield United with then team mate Kyle Walker in 2009.
Both in direct competition one was always going to fail and unfortunately for him it was Naughton who came off worse.
It is reported by several media outlets that a £5m fee has been agreed, which I think is a fantastic deal for us considering. Now that we have begun to shift out the fringe players I would expect for more to follow.
