For me this represents a catastrophic mistake by Spurs. The attacking midfielder has been getting rave reviews from his performances for the youth team.
Azzaoui made it clear back on the 12th August that he had a big decision to make and it now comes to light that this was surrounding whether he wished to replace City bound De Bruyne.
The fee is undisclosed, but from the reports following the games for his youth performances I was surprised that the youngster had not broken into the first team.
Watch this space for Azzaoui as I am certain this will be another star to watch and think why was he sold!
