Tottenham move on Lopez or Gomis

Lisandro Lopez is one player that is more known to most fans. His contract expires next year, but Lopez has been interested on hearing offers. Juventus had made initial enquiries; which were rejected (but they didn't follow it up after signing Llorente), so it is yet to be seen if this man is even available to buy. Lopez was bought from Porto for €24million as a replacement for Benzema, so we know what we would be getting in this man. Is this coming about as there is a tenuous Porto connection?

Befetimbi Gomis the more likely target of the two strikers, but may not be considered to be the "Big" name signing. He has 12 goals in Ligue 1 and is currently the joint 2nd top goal scorer and has maintained high double figures in his tally since 2007. The big situation on this individual is that his contract expires this summer and the likely hood is that he could be snapped up at a good price (so this would certainly suit Daniel 'Del Boy" Levy). The slight twist to this story though is that Gomis had turned his nose up at other transfers earlier in the month and that had prompted Lyon to state that he wanted to stay.

Interestingly enough both players are part of the current Lyon forward line and you would not imagine that Lyon would be keen to lose Lopez with a potential that Gomis could leave in the summer for free. The deal in the interest of both parties is Gomis, but his intentions to leave remain unclear.

As always the rumours build, the Damiao ones are finally going quiet, but the rest are building.

COYS!!!! And COME ON LEVY GET IT OUT (the cheque book!)
