Tottenham unfairly treated by FA AGAIN!

Jokes have been made by MoPo stating:

"Maybe if Jose were in my position now they would be complaining about the situation!" he said. "But I understand it is just football.

"It is not fair to play a final on the Sunday after you play in another 'final' in Florence on the Thursday. Chelsea play Burnley on the Saturday and then they have a clean week to prepare for the final.

"It is not fair but then we have to understand this is the competition. We are in the Europa League, the Capital One final and the Premier League.

"We need to understand that that's football. It is not the best situation, but we need to prepare every game like a final because we have important games in the mean time.

"We have a very tough game against Arsenal and then Fiorentina here, then West Ham and Florence after that. Then the final. It is football, we need to accept that and be ready for every game.

"Maybe we will change the plan and stay in Florence after the game to try to recover better and train there on Friday morning because we need to recover quickly for the game on Sunday. But always it is difficult.

"It is no problem. We are strong. We believe in our way and will be sure to be ready for the final."

However in the fairness of the game this decision has not been judged fairly and you have to ask whether there is something far more sinister involved here? Previous years league games have been moved to accommodate cup games, so why has this not been done for this fixture? For me the only way is that the FA have had a conversation with Chelsea and left Tottenham out of this. How is it fair for one team to have an 8 day break and the other 3? Ok a midweek game is not acceptable for a cup final, so it has to be the following weekend, then move Chelsea's following EPL game to the Saturday and Tottenham play their EPL game on the Sunday!

Something as important as a Cup Final should be given special attention and the FA have only given any attention to Chelsea in this decision. It shows again that ALL teams (not just Tottenham) should have the same consistent consideration. You don't give to one and not the other!

For me I want a full and honest response on how the FA feel their behaviour is acceptable to allow one team 8 days rest and another only 3 for a cup final!
