Transfer Deadline Deals

As it stands all of our supposed bids have been turned down, but is this just a scapegoat for really not doing any more business?

Firstly I want to say that although Lyon have said no agreement has been met, this is only because Lyon are desperate for the money and Levy has now dropped the offer (in hope for a cheap deal). No parties have said that all negotiations have broken down, but even then it can still be saved. So I still see this one on the cards.

Remy was supposedly another one of these done deals, but Levy has decided that he is not willing to pay €20million, but watch out City are! So that then leaves us with making an approach for Llorente, which our favourite Spanish Sky Sports presenter has swiftly stated we are not in for him. In my absolute honest opinion do not be surprised to see a late move for Sturridge. Although people do not see him as an out and out striker I would have him in a hearbeat (Chelsea are looking to loan him out, so a cheap option for Levy).

Now we come onto the much needed Midfielder. Dembele has been signed, but he IS NOT a replacement for Modric. He is a good addition to the squad, but with the likes of VDV possibly going we have to be VERY careful that we do not destroy the skeleton of the team more than we have. Moutinho has been quoted as too expensive now, well NEWS FLASH AVB and Levy, Porto don't want to sell so why did you think you would get him on the cheap? What a load of Shhhhut your mouth. Willian we have supposedly offered £15million and it was rejected, so a £18million bid is likely to go through (so push it through Levy!).

This part of the season in my opinion is the most stressful for all fans. You don't know who is going to be sold and once they are you need to see a suitable replacement coming through. If its a good transfer window you are optmistic for the season, if not then it is the be all and end all.

However I still have to trust Levy as he is our chairman and he has pulled things out of the bag a couple of times. Mark my words though if we go forward without a replacement for Modric and without a 3rd recognised striker we are in for difficult times. I am sure Dembele will play well, just not to what we will need.

As always lets rally behind them all and give them their 12th man.

Come on you Spurs!
