Axel Witsel was linked to Spurs at the tail end of the summer window, so it is no surprise to see the 26 yr old midfielder again linked to Spurs.
What I can't understand is why these transfer rumours have resurfaced? At the moment we are yet to see any concrete evidence that Tottenham are interested in signing the attacking midfielder.
It seems more likely that his manager is hoping to manufacture a move, with his client obviously intent on leaving Russia.
The Belgian has not shown any note worthy performances whilst in Russia so I feel the £20+million mentioned is far too steep a price tag.
If he was a target for MoPo then I feelhe would bring some good attacking prowess to midfield With the drop in form of Eriksen.
