We have sold Huddlestone, Dempsey, Caulker and Parker which is reported to have brought in approximately £24million.
So to date we have spent £36million. Not bad considering who has come into the squad!
Next up Gareth Bale. It is expected that a record fee of around £87million will be agreed and after we take off our current spending this leaves £51million in the bank.
So it would not seem silly to me to get Lamela at the projected £30million, Chiriches supposedly agreed at £8million and that would leave £13million for the likes of Eriksen or another striker. However that brings us to a clean slate and no matter what any one says we shouldn't stop there. Halilovic must be bought so it is likely that we would then spend up to £13million over our total money in. So thoughts people would you be happy with this? Are there targets that you have actually watched in several live games that you think we should look at?
My current shopping list is Lamela, Halilovic and Eriksen. If we get Coentrao its a massive bonus, but with how Rose has looked I think we could shape him into a great Left Back.
