Truth Behind Madrid bid for Bale.

For me in January, no there is not. To sale Bale in January for such a price would see us lose more at the end of the season.

Not only do I believe that we would fail to qualify for the Champions league, but it would damage the squad for the remainder of the season.

At £56million in the summer it may look like a decent offer, but in January where prices are doubled I cannot see that 1. Madrid or Levy would see it as enough and 2. That Levy would contemplate his sale in January?

Everyone knows that I like Levy, but I am not a huge fan. This is why I can say that Levy is stupid but not so stupid as to sale Bale in January.

Expect a barrage of stories to come out more frequently as we near the opening of the window. Expect even more once it is open, but do not expect to see Bale leave. The likes of Man City would not pass up an opportunity to buy Bale and that alone would see his price tag sky rocket.

As always these stories seem to get everyone's attention, but when it comes down to it there are no real sources behind the stories merely something that the "reporters" put out there.

A bit of gossip with some legs in it though would be that of Wenger and him leaving by the end of the season.

What do you think? Can you really see Bale leaving for Madrid in Jan? Or is it that you can see him leaving come the summer? I would like to hear your thoughts!

My sights are firmly fixed on the Swansea game though, January is miles away at the moment.
