Utd are of course interested in Bale, however after Real Madrid failed spectacularly with their efforts of "we'll spend over £100million to get him, he is an investment" why oh why would the papers concoct a story that Utd are going to bid £60million for him?
Again I will point out that there are NO QOUTES and the reason for the story is that Rooney LOOKS set to leave for Chelsea.
Please ignore the recent poor excuses for news and realise that these journalists are under pressure to release stories.
Also remember that Tottenham and Utd's relationship is worse than that of City and Utd when you look at who Utd have taken from the club in the past by a similar approach as to Madrid.
