Whats the latest?

Well lets look at this a bit more in depth. Adebayor has already been in the pipeline for some time and being in the Tottenham kit in my opinion just clears this up. So it can only be the talk of the contract that is holding things up if any?

My huge concern is where are the other striker transfer targets? I see that we are linked with Rondon of Malaga now? This is a 22 yr old that only scored 11 goals in 40 appearances last season! Ok for £5million and being young thats fine to train up, but not to fill one of the vital starting spots.

Next Lloris, it is mentioned that we do not wish to pay the requested price of £16million? If this is serious then I cannot understand the logic behind that? Hugo Lloris won Ligue 1 keeper of the year in 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2011-12 (obviously being in the Ligue1 team of the year in these years). So why oh why would you stutter over the requested price? I have seen Lloris play a few games outside of the international games and he looked good, so I can understand why he would command such a price.

Now we are being linked with Inter's once first choice Julio Cesar, but you have to question why? Just because he may be a free agent it doesn't make him a great acquisition. If you wonder why he has been dropped from the first team its because of high profile errors, so does this sound familiar? A Brazilian that is making high profile errors?

Well I tell you where my money would go I would rather 1 world class striker and 1 world class keeper than take a risk on Cesar and spend some more on strikers! Yes Brad may have another good year in him, but the guy isn't going to last forever and with Lloris available he should not be turned down, as someone else will snap him up.

I hope that Levy has not missed out here, but I think if nothing was happening then City and Lyon would of clearly stated by now that the player is no longer going to Tottenham.

Either way I will remain open minded as Levy loves the last minute deals and I dont think he will risk not getting the definate needed players, it will end up making him look a fool.

Come on you Spurs!
