Where's the transfers gone!?

We are being led to believe that we are in talks with Damiao (don't make me laugh), we are led to believe that we are looking at Negredo as a back up (believable, but still doubtful).

Levy is not looking to do the business that we all know we need. We have been in similar positions before and Levy has not pulled off the transfers that are possible he pulls off the easy ones (Holtby being a prime example)!

We all heard about Lewis Holtby, but from reliable sources, but there has been nothing with quotes or remote reliable sources from anyone on Damiao or Negredo, so it sums it up. Someone is always willing to leak the info to help with pushing something up and creating competition (it is a business after all).

We now have 1 day and 12 hours to shape the rest of our season and Levy seems to be sat on his hands as he does every January. It is simple that to spend £15-£25million will get you that in Champions League money,  but what’s just as important is that it buys us more time with our stars and allows us to attract the big names. Become the big team that Lewis wants to create to sell on.

When we got into the Champions League someone tell me at what point Levy went out to strengthen the squad to compete (where were the big name signings)? We had a great run, but we would not replicate it again with the same squad, it was a one off. As always Levy has not learnt from his mistakes! The first lesson you learn in any job or life in general is to learn from your mistakes. So why hasn't Levy?

Why is it that he hasn't learnt to do his business early and get the squad settled? If the Moutinho bid had any truth behind it then Levy would have learnt he left it too late and not to make the same mistake with Damiao (due to the rights issues).

As per usual its the same old media hype. Moutinho wouldn't deny that Spurs were interested it raises his profile! Gets other teams interested. Its a damn right lie that us Spurs fans are being spoon fed and are expected to gobble it all down and be thankful for.

Well enough is enough people. Holtby and Fryers is not good enough for a team looking to achieve greatness. We cannot expect to hit big by aiming low. Newcastle’s budget is higher than ours and they are fighting for relegation (difference is that Ashley has the sense to spend so he doesn't lose the EPL money again, he's not stupid).

Mark my words we have good players and a capable squad, we have a new face that could settle fast, but our squad is depleted up front and already tiring, without the much needed re-enforcements we are doomed as history has always shown. Either that or AVB pulls of a master class and pushes the team onto new things (but is he ready for hat yet?)!

I do not want to sit here moaning about what could have been, I want to be here thanking the chairman for his hard work (not just the playing and coaching staff). I love my team, the players and coaches, I just see that our Chairman is showing no commitment to the cause and its damn right disrespectful to our new manager that supposedly has his backing.

I will end on a different note though, I still want that humble pie! I still want Levy to pull something miraculous off and I have to eat my words! There's nothing better than preparing yourself for a storm and waking up to the sun shining!

COYS!!!!!
