Many people have asked if Scott Parker can step up to fill Sandro's boots, but are people forgetting it was Sandro that had filled Parkers boots originally (following an injury to Parker). Parker is a highly capable defensive midfielder and with him in the line-up and Livermore now his understudy I do not see any reason why we would need Diame?
The focus is far from what Tottenham are in need of so it is another reason why we are not going for Diame.
I am not stating that I have heard otherwise, but it is common sense. Why would you buy another defensive midfielder when there is a clearer issue in the more advanced midfield position and up front, having just the ONE recognised striker and all that!
I haven't bothered to read into the Diame articles as I know it is just another waste of my time with newspapers looking for stories or clubs and agents looking to push prices/ wages up!
