I for one have already had this arguement with someone that has seen about 2 minute footage!
The game was not the best, the players were not particularily positive. I feel that the game itself was scrappy and our "big names" failed to really show up for the game.
As I had said against Man City Bale looked injured and Bale has said it himself and was really showing it against Wigan. Rather than dogged down his performance (as he did score), I would rather highlight his team spirit and commitment as other fully fit players do not have the excuse!
If I had to choose the better players on the day I might be inclined to point out Naughton and Walker as they did their best in getting forward to support the attacks.
I don't really have much to say on the game as a positive would not be greeted too well and I really don't won't to add to any negitivity to that already out there.
The drop of 2 points was far from great, however a 3 point difference between Chelsea and 2 points from Arsenal is not a great deal to make up (especially with a game in hand). The 4 games remaining I feel that we have every chance of winning (even with Chelsea away) so in my opinion way waste time worrying and moaning. Chelsea have the hardest fixture list with games against Utd, Us and Everton. But face further games with their involvement in the Europa League. Arsenal have obtained points their hardest fixture (in theory). However QPR will not want to lose their finals games and must save face, but Newcastle and Wigan will be playing for their lives so this may not be the easiest fixtures taking that into account.
What I am trying to say fellow Spurs fans is that forget the previous games for both teams. Forget the missed opportunites and missed points, if we win our remaining games we finish in the Top4 and with a light bit of luck 3rd. Now that is not too much to ask for and with Bale get fitter, JD and Lennon ready to start the next game what have we got to lose?
Four games to achieve the Top4 I like the sound of that!
