Allan Saint-Maximin linked with move to Tottenham

Newcastle United forward Allan Saint-Maximin is on Tottenham Hotspur's shortlist of targets this summer, as the club look to strengthen ahead of Antonio Conte's first full season in north London.

The Lilywhites have already confirmed two signings ahead of the 2022/23 season - Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster both joined the club in June. 90min also understands that the club have agreed a £26m deal to acquire midfielder Yves Bisouma from Brighton.

With two deals over the line and another in the pipeline, Tottenham are said to be turning their attentions to signing a forward. According to Football.London, that forward could be Saint-Maximin.

Fabio Paratici is said to be a fan of the mercurial forward, who impressed as Newcastle United secured their Premier League status in the second half of last season.

Saint-Maximin would be joining up with one of the most exciting attacks in the league if he were to sign for Spurs. Dejan Kulusevski, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min combined for an astonishing 66 goal contributions last season alone.

Sources have also told 90min that the Magpies are open to selling the player this summer. The Frenchman himself wants to sign fresh terms at St. James' Park, but with the club interested in Bayer Leverkusen's Moussa Diaby and agreeing a deal to sign youngster Hugo Ekitike, a new deal is not forthcoming.
