An apology would be nice Mr. Izzet

Freddie Kanoute is expected to be out for at least a month after scans revealed ligament damage on his ankle. Kanoute was stretchered off after Muzzy Izzet's disgusting challenge in Sunday's victory at the Walkers' Stadium. The Leicetser City playmaker was seen to stamp on the Frenchman's ankle after the latter had taken the ball past him just moments after giving Spurs the lead. The tackle was no doubt a result of total frustration due to the manner in which Spurs seemed to steal the points from the home side, but that is no excuse for its malice. Izzet made no attempt to get ball, and there had been no previous bad blood between the two players, so for no reason other than sheer anger, Freddie Kanoute will have to miss Spurs' fixtures all the way through to the end of November, including the clash with Arsenal at Highbury.
