Anderton plays for an hour

Anderton made his comeback from a ten-week lay-off in the friendly against Fulham at Motspur Park on Tuesday, his first match since damaging his knee in the friendly against Celtic in August.

Darren told the clubs official website: "It feels good. I played for just over an hour and it felt good to be out there. I feel okay now, a little stiff, but no problems."

"I'll just go into training from Thursday and take it from there," he added.
