Bowyer, who was expected to sign for Liverpool before this season started, has also been linked with a move to Arsenal but now it seems as though he could end up at White Hart Lane instead.
When the transfer window reopens in January, Leeds are expected to offer the player to a number of Premiership clubs, including Spurs, although the 25-year-old will more than likely refuse a move until his contract runs out in the Summer.
This option will allow him to negotiate a lucrative deal with other clubs as he will be a free agent.
