Slavia Prague has already confirmed 30-year-old goalkeeper Radek Cerny is on the verge of completing a move to White Hart Lane.

Former Spurs and England keeper Ian Walker had been set for a return, but the 33-year-old has recently found himself back in Leicester City’s first team after recovering from a serious knee injury.

Youth keeper Nicky Eyre stood in for injured Hungarian stopper Marton Fulop for two reserve games, and was also on the bench as cover for Paul Robinson last weekend.

Swede Rami Shaaban, the former Arsenal stopper, was also training with Spurs this week.
