Davies back in Wales squad

Davies played his first full match following a debilitating virus for the reserves at Norwich City on Wednesday night.

"I felt stronger fitness-wise and enjoyed it again," he told the official site.

The midfielder scored an early goal with a header and is relishing the possibility of being named in Martin Jols’s squad for the FA Cup fourth round tie at West Brom this weekend.

Spurs signed right winger David Limbersky on loan from Czech Division Two side Viktoria Plzen until the summer, and have been in discussions to sign one or two others to fill the same role. It led to suggestions Spurs would consider Davies’ departure in the current transfer window with Everton’s David Moyes showing interest.
