Sebastien Bassong has told the media that he expects to be sidelined for at least a month with the injury he sustained in the defeat at Arsenal.

The Sours defender sustained a hamstring injury moments from the end of the 3-0 defeat at The Emirates on Saturday lunchtime.

"It's not good news. It's a hamstring. he has told the Daily Mirror.

"I'll be out maybe four or five weeks. It just feels like my muscle is gone.

"It was really not a good day for me or the club or the fans.

"It was the worst day of the season."
