Ugo Ehiogu has died after suffering a heart attack at Tottenham's training ground on Thursday afternoon.
The former England and Aston Villa defender, who has been trainnig the Spurs Under 23 squad, was rushed to hospital, but a statement from Spurs has said he died in hospital in the early hours of Friday.
"Words cannot express the shock and sadness that we all feel at the club," said Tottenham's head of coaching and development John McDermott.
"Ugo's immense presence will be irreplaceable."
