European dream still alive claims Hoddle

Spurs are currently in eigth place in the table, eight points behind sixth placed Liverpool, but Hoddle feels the next two games could well decide where the side finish this season.

"We've got Manchester City at home and West Brom away next and we've got to beat both those teams," said Hoddle.

"We could have come away from this game with a win, and three months ago, if we had been leading 2-1 here, then we would have gone on to win.

"The mental state of Leeds at that time was a little bit fragile, but Peter Reid has come in and with confidence high after last week's 6-1 win, it was always going to be difficult coming here and playing against them.
