First team players in Tribute Match

Last updated : 16 October 2002 By SpurMAD
Legendary Spurs players such as Glenn Hoddle, David Ginola, Paul Gascoigne, Chris Waddle, Jurgen Klinsmann and Paul and Clive Allen are all set to pull on the famous white shirt against DC United in the tribute match to raise funds for former players.

With the inclusion of present first team players a strike partnership of Teddy Sheringham and Klinsmann could be reformed, in 1994-95 they scored over 50 goals playing together.

Gorman told the clubs official website: "Obviously we've got to keep an eye on our very important game against Bolton on Sunday but there will be first team players involved.

"Players like Stephen Clemence, who has just come back from long-term injury, Gus Poyet, Stephen Carr, they'll be involved but we'll be careful with them and only give them a short period.
