Freund Targets Return

The German midfielder limped out of the 1st League 2 - 1 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge back in February. Scans later showed that the midfielder who had been in fine form up until the injury, had damaged his cruciate ligament.

Freund speaking on Spurs.co.uk said "My injury is getting better, there's been no reaction. That's good news for me because I have to be careful"

"I talk to the players and the manager here, and I miss that (whilst out injured). But I know for my comeback that I had to go to Germany and use my doctor. I have to say thankyou to the club and to Glenn for letting me do everything."
