The 22-year-old joined Tottenham from MTK Hungaria in July 2003.
He said: "It was an honour to catch the eye of Spurs. I have come to Coventry to get some experience."
Fulop has made 15 appearances for City this season, keeping five clean sheets along the way.
"In Hungary they used to broadcast a lot of games in the FA Cup so I know all about the traditions. I experienced how special it was last year when I was on the bench at Spurs," he added.
