John Gorman has quit his post as Assistant Manager of Wycombe Wanderers just over a week into Tony Adams' reign as manager. Gorman had been the caretaker manager at the Causeway Stadium after Lawrie Sanchez was sacked, but he was replaced by Adams and shuffled back to his usual postion one rung down the ladder. However, with Glenn Hoddle seemingly closer to a managerial appointment, Gorman has decided to join forces with the former Spurs and England boss once again. A statement from Wycombe thanked Gorman for his work and said that he, 'Leaves Wycombe Wanderers in better shape than when he arrived on Thursday October 2'.
