The Evening Standard has tonight revealed that two 'big hitters' from two of the City's largest banks have a significant financial share interest in the club. Michael Sherwood of Goldman Sachs who is worth approximately £103m and Roger Nazigoff of Lehman Brothers have been named as the two secret investors, but there are others including Swiss banks. It is believed that between them they hold a share worth nine per cent and this is deemed to be behind the rise in the club's share price which went up from 17p in June to a yearly high of 28p in October. Unfortunately, both Sherwood and Nazigoff deny that they are due to increase their investment.
