"It is something that has been going on for a while, I am just happy it is now signed," said the club's vice-captain.

"I signed here from Leeds in the first place because I believed that this was a club that’s going places. The quality of players that have been brought in told me that I was certainly making the right decision and I am flattered and delighted the club gave me the opportunity to sign.
