Jol: It's not easy for a big club

After victories in the UEFA Cup, the league and the FA Cup in recent weeks, Martin Jol is adamant Spurs are a club very much on the upward trajectory.

Martin Jol said: "We're on a great run. We've played five matches in 13 days and now have our sixth in 15 against Chelsea on Monday. It's not an ideal scenario but we've won seven of our last eight games with one draw and we could have beaten Chelsea last weekend, so we are on a great run."

"I think people realise that we are a big club that wants to do things. How many times does a club outside the top four do well in all competitions and still do well in the league? Hopefully people realise now how well we've done, we are in the top six today (Saturday) and have to wait for the result between Everton and Arsenal, but I can tell you it's not easy to play all these games, play in all the cups and still compete and challenge."
