Jol tones down Robinson panic

Martin Jol insisted Paul Robinson’s forced absence from Tottenham’s remaining two games of the season shouldn’t undermine the club’s chances of qualifying for Europe

"It is something that we cannot do anything about but it's not as bad as it looks because in Radek Cerny we have an experienced goalkeeper who has played around 200 games in the Czech League and has also played for the Czech National team," he said.

Robinson sustained a minor knee ligament tear in the 5-1 win against Aston Villa on Sunday. Marton Fulop has been recalled from his loan spell at Chesterfield to replace Cerny on the bench.
