Martin Jol was a happy coach as the fruits of his hard labour this season showed at Old Trafford.
"We have good players - Robinson, and the spine of our team, and Edgar Davids — he can play anywhere.
Tottenham’s 1-1 draw against Manchester United marked exactly how far the team have come already this season, especially in the context of it being the latest of three successive comebacks to avoid defeat away from home.
Jol added: "We gave them too much space down one flank in the first half and if you do that, you are causing your own problems but we bounced back.
"I think we’re getting better and better. We had 60% of possession in the second half and not many teams will have more possession than Manchester United. If you get confidence out of games like that you can improve further. We have a really good feeling this season.
"I don’t think we’ve played to our potential but you can’t expect that yet. We have a lot of new faces and we are gelling together and when we do that in the near future it will suit me because I want to play attractive football and get the results as well."
