Freddie Kanoute has just completed his first half as a Malian international, and it has been a relatively successful one. His team went in one nil up against Kenya after a free-flowing first half. The goal came from Kanoute's strike partner Mohamed Lamine Sissoko. Moments later, Kanoute could have scored himself, but was unable to lift the ball over the on-rushing Kenyan 'keeper.
