Robbie Keane sat out of Ireland training on Wednesday, raising fears that he may miss the crucial qualifier against Switzerland. Keane, who damaged ankle ligaments in September and subsequently missed his country's draw with Russia is believed to have picked up a minor knee injury. Spurs and Ireland assistant manager Chris Hughton has insisted that the decision to leave Keane out of the session was just a precaution and stated that he should be fit for the game on Saturday. Ireland manager Brian Kerr also missed training with a bout of 'flu.
