"He looked good in training and played with a lot of enthusiasm," Kerr told Ireland's official website.
"It's not for me to say, but to me he looked delighted to be here and relieved to back playing football.
"In my mind I know whether he will play or not but I haven't told the players the team so I will not be telling anyone else."
