Charlton boss Alan Curbishley has warned Spurs that he may have to recall the on-loan Paul Konchesky to ease his injury crisis. Konchesky, who joined Spurs on a month's loan in September has played 14 times for Spurs and has seen his deal increased on three occasions. However, Curbishley now believes he may have to ask for his services as his side face 5 games in 15 days.

"We have a 24-hour recall, and I have warned David Pleat," said Curbishley. "Spurs should prepare for it." He may even ask Konchesky to move back into the left back slot which was one of the main reasons for Konchesky handing in a transfer request in the summer. He had been reported earlier in the week as saying that a return to the Valley would be 'horrible', but it may now have to be a reality.
