Tottenham Hotspur duo Aaron Lennon and Dimitar Berbatov have been recognised in this year's Professional Footballer's Association awards. Pacey winger Lennon was nominated for the Young Player of the Year award and came third behind Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo and Arsenal's midfield playmaker Cesc Fabregas. Dimitar Berbatov was voted into the team of the year by his fellow professionals after a season of performances that have won him a fond place in the hearts of the Spurs faithful. The final team included no less than eight United players, who found further success as Ronaldo walked off with both the Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year gongs.
