Aaron Lennon, named in the England squad this afternoon, will be in contention for his eighth consecutive start, the only blip in Tottenham's 100% record over the course coming in last weekend's drawn FA Cup tie against Chelsea.

Teemu Tainio was an unused substitute against Braga in the UEFA Cup in midweek, but the decision was reached that the Finn would recuperate hopefully for a return after the international break.

Martin Jol said: "We've got a few problems but that is normal when you play so many games, you get a number of knocks and bruises so overall, it is okay."

"Aaron Lennon took a knock to his left knee on Wednesday, but will be okay to be in the squad for Saturday, as will JJ. Paul Robinson is also likely to be available, but Teemu Tainio has picked up a calf strain and will be out for a couple of weeks."
