Dean Marney, who scored twice in Tottenham’s win against Everton on New Years Day, reflected on his decision to sign a new contract at the club.
"I sat down and spoke to the gaffer who said good things – if you get the opportunity to stay at a Premiership club where you are highly thought of there is no decision to be made really.
"I have been here some years now and I want to establish myself as a regular," said Marney.
