Milo to go...

Milenko Acimovic looks set to leave the club after admitting that he is in discussion with a number of clubs about a move away. The Slovenian international who was signed by Glenn Hoddle in the summer of 2002 after steering his country to their first ever World Cup has been unable to hold down a place in the first team squad, making only eight appearances last season. Acimovic stated that "At this moment I'm in the phase of negotiating with interested clubs so I don't want to talk about names. Everything will be known on Friday".

There have been unconfirmed reports that West Ham are hot on the heels of the midfielder while other Nationwide clubs and a number of Spanish sides are also said to be interested. Acimovic will be remembered for 'that' miss against Fulham last season. Ironically, his only 'goal' for the first team came against Fulham at Loftus Road last term but it was quickly ruled out for offside.
