Martin Jol mentioned that a row broke out in the home dressing room after the Everton defeat on Saturday. The identities of the players involved in the fracas were reported by one paper to have been Edgar Davids and summer signing Didier Zokora.

Jol said: "We had two weeks together in pre-season and then the international players came in."

Zokora, who was on World Cup duty with the Ivory Coast has only completed one full 90 minutes out of five for Spurs, that was one of two pre-season friendlies he was involved in. He was substituted in the Premiership opener at Bolton, and hasn't started in either of the next two games.
