This has come about due to a combination of injury & loss of form, consequently being dropped from the 1st team. (Although may be drafted in for Saturday)
Modern day Premiership footballer ethics dictate that at this stage he should agitate for the transfer citing the clubs lack of ambition, being played out of position, blaming the manager, tea lady, anyone bar himself really. (I think the medical term is called Wenger syndrome).
Refreshingly Si went public stating that he hadn’t been playing well enough to merit a 1st team place but has no intention of going anywhere other than the training ground to put matters right.
Hopefully he can prorogate that sort of attitude to the rest of our team.
