No “Bum Steers” This Time Please.

Martin Jol has been quoted as saying that we are not in talks with Wilhelmsson despite media reports to the contrary.

A couple of seasons ago, Glen Hoddle was asked if we were on the verge of signing Robbie Keane. “Definitely not, if some one(David Pleat) wants to sell you a bum steer, that’s up to them”

48hours later Robbie signed and the relationship between Glen & David went from bad to worse, with the inevitable consequence of both David & Glen receiving the order of the boot.

Hopefully Martin & Frank have a better relationship and are singing off the same hymn sheet.
