No Forest approach for Hoddle

Glenn Hoddle's agent has moved swiftly to deny rumours that the former Spurs boss has been in talks with first division side Nottingham Forest. It had been reported that Hoddle had been approached by the midland's club after their current manager Paul Hart was keen to speak to Leeds United after the sacking of Peter Reid on Monday, but agent Dennis Roach told BBC Sport, 'There has been no contact whatsoever with Nottingham Forest. No discussions have taken place'. Hoddle has been already been linked with the vacant posts at Crystal Palace and Reading as well as a number of clubs in Saudi Arabia, but as it stands, he is still searching. He is likely to be named as the forerunner for any job that becomes available and it surely will not be long before the former England boss is back in the game.
