For the scrabble players out there, dazzle your friends with Spurs' latest acquisition Mbulelo Mabizela. The South African international scored a crucial goal against Leicester City on Sunday just minutes after coming on to make his first Spurs appearance. The defender cum midfielder unleashed a rocket in the 73rd minute that flew past former Spurs 'keeper Ian Walker and then ran to the travelling faithful, with delight and passion written across his face. Mabizela, known to the staff at Spurs as 'Old John' or 'OJ' for reasons better known to him, has been rumoured to have had a tough time settling in after his move from Orlando Pirates but his goal yesterday has certainly eased things and he said 'I think this is my first step forward and if I get some more chances I will do better'. He certainly could not have struck the lay back from Bobby Zamora any better and the Spurs fans will be hoping for more of the same. And a triple word score.
