Okocha admits that Spurs didn't want him

Jay-Jay Okocha, the man who single handedly tore Spurs apart on Saturday was rejected by former manager Glenn Hoddle. In an interview after Wanderers' one nil win, in which Okcoha hit the crossbar three times from long range, the Nigerian international stated that before signing for Bolton he had made it clear the he wanted to move to White Hart Lane. He said, 'I didn't talk to Glenn, my agent offered me to him. I don't know why it didn't work out. I don't think he needed a player like me'. We do now.
