Benoit Assou-Ekotto has been named in the Cameroon squad for the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations but there is no place in the squad for Sebastien Bassong.

Bassong has failed to make French coach Paul Le Guen's 23-man squad for the tournament which is being held in Angola between 10th and the 31st January.
