The Spurs midfielder was sent to a Merseyside hospital after sustaining rib injuries towards the end of the 2-2 draw at Everton on Sunday evening.
Spurs will now monitor the Honduras international's injury ahead of the weekend game against Wolves at White Hart Lane.
