Perry sets three week target

Perry was carried off during the recent game with West Ham just days after suffering a head injury in the 3-2 defeat at Fulham.

The Spurs defender told the Evening Standard: "The specialist has told me I should be back in two or three weeks. It's annoying because I had only just regained my place.

"If everyone was fit at the club, there would be eight centre-halves fighting for two or three positions. But at the moment, there are only three players fit in that department so the defensive part of the team virtually picks itself."

Meanwhile, midfielder Stephen Clemence, who missed virtually the whole of last season and has yet to play in this campaign, hopes to be back in training within the next two to three weeks after treatment on his Achilles injury.
