Pleat continues his Hoddle bashing

David Pleat has once again hit out at Glenn Hoddle, when it seemed that the slanging match was over. Hoddle, sacked as Spurs boss in September had been involved in a war of words with current caretaker manager Pleat, but had seemingly ended the feud by admitting that Pleat had been doing a good job and should be given the post on a permanent basis. However, when commenting on the applicants for the vacant position, Pleat said, 'We've had everyone. Managers, agents, mothers, fathers, dustmen, cleaners applying'. There was nothing too controversial or damning in that statement, but he then continued to say, 'To be fair, none of the above would probably do much worse than Glenn Hoddle'. A comment too far maybe.
